A new stunning destination in Bohol

An amazing sanctuary of wild life, Tarsier Botanika is a tropical botanical garden that covers 5 hectares on Panglao Island, Bohol Philippines.

Showcasing over 3,000 species and varieties of exotic plants and flowers, as well as an extensive selection of stone and bronze statues, sculptures, hand carved stone jars and other decorative items.

The park also includes an animal refuge of birds, mammals and reptiles.
Nicolas and Patricia Moussempes, owners and founders of this unique project, are promoting the preservation and appreciation of the exotic flora and fauna.
Arranged in three purpose built galleries in the middle of the park, Tarsier Artistika is truly a “cabinet de curiositĂ©” housing a personal collection acquired over 40 years of traveling around the world.
Nicolas assembled his eclectic collection of art & objet d’art from several auction houses, European & Asian art dealers and fine galleries.

On display you will find classic European paintings including 16th century Dutch and Italian masters.
Romantics, impressionists, expressionists, modern and abstract paintings, Chinese ceramics, scrolls and porcelain, oriental carpets and African masks.

The park, aviary, animal sanctuary and museum make wonderful opportunities for the professional and amateur photographers.
The variations on light at dawn or dusk and the vibrant colors of flowers, birds and botanical plants produce an endless range of photographic subjects.
Some of the works from five Filipino and International photographers on their artistry are showcased.
In the air conditioned café Tarsier Exotica, you will find a surprising choice of freshly made traditional French pastries, pizzas, pastas, healthy organic salads and sandwiches.
By 2011, the project will also include some outstanding amenities such as a bar lounge restaurant overlooking the magnificent view of the South Bohol Sea, a diving center, a handicraft village and an equestrian center.
